Sarah Tran
Founder & Principal Consultant
Sarah provides executive coaching, facilitation, program design, and strategic advising to community organizations, philanthropic foundations, businesses, and government entities committed to advancing racial equity and social justice.
As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees and a survivor of gender-based violence, she draws from her personal roots in combination with over twenty years of experience in direct service, community organizing, policy advocacy, and movement building to support initiatives for racial justice, gender equity, and human rights both in the United States and overseas. Sarah has served as the executive leader for several organizations including the Nonprofit Assistance Center, API Chaya, and currently supports the Equitable Recovery & Reconciliation Alliance as its inaugural Managing Director. She also serves as a Trustee for the Cedarmere Foundation.
Sarah currently resides on Duwamish/Suquamish land with her loved ones. When she’s not working, you can find her singing, gardening, making pottery, or by the ocean, and always with her two beloved pups.
